Marmozets, Oxford Academy, Oxford

Late call to attend this one. Kristina was already going and something changed with the set times meaning she’d need to leave the gig early to catch her train, instead I said i’d drive up and grab a ticket on the door.

I arrived during the support act Black Peaks, the venue was incredibly hot so I headed straight to the bar to grab a pint of coke, unfortunately this was the bar on the opposite side of the venue to Kristina, eventually I made my way over to her.

Black Peaks seemed OK, they were a 10000% improvement on the previous support band Marmozets had, thats for sure.

Marmozets as you’d expect played to their normal tempo and had the crowd singing along. It won’t be long before they step up to the next tier of venues in the UK.
