KoRn, Brixton Academy, London
Korn returned a few months later with yet another amazing line up which included Pitch Shifter & Limp Bizkit.
No one, or very few people knew who Limp Bizkit were, they started the night off with their cover of George Michaels, Faith. Boos and jeers echoed around the place, then all of a sudden that chorus kicked in. Brixton exploded into one massive mosh pit and Limp Bizkit had a fuck load of new fans.
I don’t remember much about Pitch Shifter at all from the night.
Korn (with cocks hanging from the ceiling) were as good, if not better than the first time we saw them, this time round we all had standing tickets so was better for everyone. The crush barriers had recently been installed at the venue and were the perfect launch pad for crowd surfers. Tim and I used this to our advantage, he went up first and the crowd parted for him to hit the floor, I hadn’t waited to see what was happening and also jumped in the same direction, he broke my fall as I landed on top of him in the same hole.
Line up: Korn, Limp Bizkit, Pitchshifter
