After 7 years Garbage return… And what a return it was! I seriously didn’t expect them to be anywhere near as good as they were tonight. Energy that was never there on the previous 2 tours, the break has done this band the power of good for sure as the show reminded me more of the Version 2.0 shows than any on either the beautifulgarbage or Bleed Like Me tours. I’ll be attending quite a few more shows on this tour on this performance that is for sure.

Despite having a flat full of friends, Rijkels and I ended up staying the night at my parents, during the gig my mum tried to cal me to tell me my Dad had been admitted to hospital. After texting her during the show I discovered that she was stranded there, so after the show we drove there to drop her off home and arrange a few extra things.
