Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, Brixton Academy, London

Didn’t see either Funhole or Ecca Vandal as we opted for dinner instead, we caught Basement, I only knew one of the tracks myself.

I don’t know much of Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, just a couple of their singles to be honest but attended as Tim was interested in going. There was a nice moment before Wild Flowers where he encouraged all the girls to crowd surf without fear of being touched, something which should be the case everywhere, not just at gigs. Many obliged and security had an even busier night on their hands.

The sound once again wasn’t right, there’s definitely something wrong with the sound at Brixton Academy right now as this is the third show in a row where it wasn’t up to scratch IMO.
