Something that I do remember about this show was someone shouting “stage invasion” and everyone getting up on the stage during the final few songs. Being at the front I ended up at the back of the stage banging on Jon Lee’s drums with him. It must have sounded like shit but to be up there on a tiny stage with 20 other people was mad! Not sure if Lee made it onto the stage as well, I have a feeling he was down the front near Grant’s mic stand. I know we both left buzzing as the show was so good!

I’ve no idea who supported this show. The gig itself fell between the release of the band’s (original) Swim EP and Polythene album.
