The game was dire, Liverpool didn’t really have anything to play for and Charlton were already down, somehow it ended 2-2. I remember Harry Kewell coming on for the final 15 minutes or so and he should have been given the man of the match. Liverpool also got a penalty with a couple of minutes to go and the crowd wanted God back on to score it, Benitez had just taken him off so he got a good sending off from the Kop.
